I'm trying my best to look for something that really inspire me but at this point I'm quite desperate. So what I came up with it's going safe. My two last purchases were Adidas and the last one which I was honestly happy
with were the Americana Low. So I think I'll go for another review of a classic.
Campus - Adidas Skateboarding
My only concern is the colourway because I get used to wear white sneakers now, and when I wear dark sneakers they look kinda tacky to me.
Long time ago I had great pleasure tasting for the first time in my life this lovely drink: Inca Kola. Unfortunately that was also the last time but I haven't forgot its taste: something compare to a fruity chewing gum. Last weekend I saw this tee in the streets:
Inca Kola - The Andean Store
Believe me or not I´ve just got a few goals this summer, but I added two more: get to drink Inca Kola again and buy this tee.
First sneaker post !! It was about time.. And it's about a brand that released its first shoe collection in 2010, after 10 years creating skateboards and apparel inspired from the natural world.
Adder - Habitat Footwear
Many models looks like the Vans Era model these days, but I think these ones are really cool.
Southsea is a part of Portsmouth located within a mile of the city centre. Apparently it looks like anyother british city but it has some surprises that makes it different. The first thing is the Common a great space covered by grass paralell to the shore. Nice vibe in there: lots of instant BBQs, people playing anything you can think of, beer...
The other thing is the Southsea skatepark, originally public but it has been taking over by the locals and become a trust and charity organization. The local goverment didn't take care of it and hadn't been taking over by these guys, nobody knows what would have happened with it.
This a documentary about it (just in case you want to know more about it):
And then you get Bored of Southsea, the skate shop. They've got a great selection of brands, cool tees and sneakers but I just love its brand.
Paulo Futre is the best footballer has played for Atletico Madrid for the last 30 years. He got two spanish cup in a row, 1990-91 and 1991-92, and made a huge different for this club. Real Madrid, Atletico biggest rival, truly feared him and they had good reasons for it.
Now you have the chance to get his jersey. I've chosen the away kit because I think it's actually cooler than the home one, but if you wish you could buy it as well.
ATM Retro Shirt - Deporforas
Here you've got a video to watch it in more detail while enjoying the fantastic soundtrack.
Long time since I last said a word over here. So maybe we'll need an air freshener or something to keep going.
Always Fresh - Feltics
Feltics is a brand said to be connected to the ultimate trend and has been sponsoring some jerk crews. If you ask me, I don't know whether jerk is dying or not..
SUPERbrand makes both surfboards and apparel and seems to me like a happy brand which aims to do things in its own way and creates its own style. Browsing its tees I liked this one the most.
Back in 1930 a new terrance was built on the south side of Stamford Bridge, Chelsea FC's ground. It was partly covered by steel roof, reason why the supporters started to refer to it as "The Shed", so much so that they got its name changed for The Shed End. Vocal supporters used to sit there but after 1994 remodelation, most of them moved to the North Stand.
Shed Graphic tee - Chelsea FC
I must confess that it's a bit gloomy but I like it very much for what it represents.
Benfica's golden era was the 1960's. Even before Eusebio's debut on 10 June 1961, Benfica had such a team that they were able to win the European Cup against FC Barcelona, where Ramallets, Suárez (first and only spaniard who has won the Golden Ball so far) and Kubala played.
SL Benfica defeated FC Barcelona for 3 to 2 at the Wankdorf Stadium, Bern, on 31 May 1961.
For the time being, neither Benfica nor Portuguese league are at their highest level, reason why we should, in my opinion, remember and celebrate that Golden decade, the Golden Era.
This isn't another rasta tee, this one is about football (please don't call it soccer..). Rastafarians like football very much though, football is universal.
Here I have an excuse to talk about the JC London Shop Opening. How was it ? Apparently, it was a great success, pretty awesome, with a crowd waiting to get inside.
Super Delivery Truck - Johnny Cupcakes
Somebody wrote about the tee prices on the internet: between £35 and £45. The exclusive one is supposed to be £40. Wow
I don't have any Elwood tee but I can't wait to have one. Simple designs, not agressive at all, and if you have time to take a second look maybe you'll get something from them.
Cloud Kicker is a brand created by people who was born in the eighties and who want to preserve the style of this decade for ever.
CK Script tee
The inspiration for this name came from an early logo in which a cloud was drawing with sneakers as eyes, along with a smile. It looks like a happy brand..
Johnny Cupcakes is about to open a shop in London. The opening is set to March 12th and they've made this exclusive tee to celebrate it.
London Exclusive - JC
Maybe I'll visit the shop next month and hopefully I'll get one of these exclusive tees. I'm just a bit scared of the price because Johnny Cupcakes tees are always around 35.99$.
So you'll have a word about the London shop's tees next month and most important, about the shop itself, actually the greater product Johnny Cupcakes have to offer us.
Lakai giving a new shape to the screaming hand. Jim Phillips created the logo in the 80's and it relates to the pain he felt due to lots of hours working at his studio.
Screaming Foot - Lakai
I feel my Lakai Cordobas do the same thing every time I dare to wear them. I wish they were brand new again.
Hey !! Here you have a quite simple LRG tee but somehow I like it very much. And I think the reason why I like it that much is because I dislike the other LRG logo (the tree with roots one) and this one looks like funny.
Collection Five Tee - LRG
In my opinion the simpler the LRG tee gets, the better it looks cos sometimes they just fill tees up with lots of
stuff, making them look kinda ugly.
Excellent cap inspired in The Golden Bridge from San Francisco and NBA team Golden State Warriors which is one of my favorites of the current NBA's logos.
